Chris Hemsworth was on Ellen yesterday to promote The Huntsman, the sequel that no one asked for. But God bless him, the beautiful Neanderthal is still giving it the old college try.

There’s a bit (and I’m sure this was prepared) where he talks about his four-year-old daughter, India Rose asking him why she doesn’t have a penis like her brothers. He then explained that girls are born with different anatomy, to which she demanded one now.

Little India knows what’s up. She’s probably thinking, Sh-t, we get paid less than guys, our access to contraception is complicated and God forbid I want to have a career during my prime reproductive years. I’m f-cked.

Or you know, maybe she’s just being a curious kid. In any case, I’m going to try not to give credit to Hemsworth for responding like a decent human being. That’s wonderful, but we should start holding a higher standard than just “not being an asshole.”
